my music & who i am

My name is James

I'm an internet-based electronic(?) artist from the UK and my music is just things I make for fun with my friends

I find it a bit hard to put my finger on what genre my own music is. I've had my music described as loads of different genres by others: cloud rap, vapourwave, EDM, jungle and indietronica to name a few... but it's DEFINITELY electronic and DEFINITELY ambient! Take a listen for yourself and see what you think.

My first two compilations under Pastoria are assorted tracks from the beginning of 2022 to the end of 2023. I don't like waiting very long after making something so I just compiled everything I posted on soundcloud into one project basically. They're really important to me because I think they showcase my growth as an artist! They're honest reflections of making music in a way that makes me happy in the moment. For that reason they're a bit uncoordinated but I do hope you enjoy them, and I am hoping to have a little more creative direction in the future.

My 2024 EP "Roundabout" marks my brief trancey dancey stint in the form of pop music... which has concluded FOR NOW with three remixes up on soundcloud. Go check em out
